WORLD LEPROSY DAY

World Leprosy Day was on 29th January 2023, it held annually so that we do not forget the continuing challenge that is caused by leprosy. This chronic disease has no respect of a person’s race, gender or age, it has no boundaries on who it affects. The aim of World Leprosy Day is to raise awareness about leprosy and the effect it has on people’s lives.Especially as we remember those people living at the Mutemwa Leprosy Care Centre in Zimbabwe.
